I used to be a major workaholic. 5 years ago, I was an entrepreneur who wanted to succeed no matter what. And I was ready to pay an extremely high price for so-called “success”.
This mindset led me to hit rock bottom. At that time, the only productivity hack that I knew was work myself to the bone all day and night. Ignore my body’s needs. Exhaust myself. Abuse my energy.
I had no clue how to be peacefully productive. Until life gave me a big slap in the face. I found out I was pre-diabetic. Depressed. Emotionally & physically in pain. Turns out ignoring your health for your work is NOT a great productivity strategy.
I took this rock bottom & made MAJOR changes. I totally changed my paradigm about work. And how good work works. I had to transform from working in a self-harming way that exhausted me to a self-loving way that gave me ease, joy & pleasure.
Following the exact strategies I’ll teach you in Peacefully Productive, I became healthy & profitable. I lost over 90 pounds. I earned $94K that year... on my “year off.” I combined ease, self-love & profit & never looked back!
When you honor your unique work rhythms, you fall madly in LOVE your business. It’s magical. Time flies & you’re getting paid so well you didn’t notice.
When you over-work, avoid your work & base your worthiness on your productivity, you begin to resent your business. And that’s NOT cute. In fact, it’s super painful.
As a former workaholic, I get it. One of the BIGGEST mistakes I see experts make is creating an UNHEALTHY codependent relationship with their work. You OVERUSE or ABANDON your work. So your work OVERUSES or ABANDONS you.
When you have a healthy, supportive, fun relationship with your work & your unique energy patterns, work becomes an extension of your Life‘s Work & it‘s a true pleasure.
