It was at my childhood dinner table. That's where I learned to tell a damn good story. As one of 4 sisters, you had to fight for your share of the attention. And I quickly learned I could rip the microphone out of my sisters' hands & attract the attention I wanted from my parents if I could just be more interesting & funny than anyone else. I later learned how to be (slightly) less obnoxious with this skill. But I left this dinner table bootcamp, way more brilliant at getting what I wanted by engaging people in a damn good story. 

I could easily make people laugh & cry by brilliantly crafting a story out of a true event or experience. The way I told it left people magnetized. It was a seriously fun super power that I used for (mostly) good LOL. 

It was in my cute little Master's Degree in Creative Writing that I sharpened the crap out of my storytelling skills. It was actually a short, edgy, punch you in the heart story-poem that lead to the head of one of the most prestigious writing graduate programs pleading with me to choose their graduate program! It accepts just 7 students globally every year... and apparently this crazy redhead was "one of their top choices." 

Storytelling is the ultimate influence tool because done right, it grabs attention. And these days more than ever, attention is currency. Turns out this skill was super transferrable. I used it to get sales calls, to close clients & transform my clients as a coach. Turns out attention directed properly easily turns into sales. 

When you know how to tell a powerful story, you can easily sell anything to anyone.

Nobody likes to be preached at. But everybody gathers around for a damn good story. When you can paint an enticing vision with your words, you have the most persuasive tool in the world for moving people to an enthusiastic, inspired hell yes.

If you don't want to come off as pushy or salesy, you're going to want to master this skill. It opens people's minds, overcomes objections & makes it obvious as hell that you're the leader for them, all without you ever struggling to prove yourself. You stop getting price compared and you stand out to your audience as the one & only leader they wanna pay.

When you learn tell stories my way, you instantly magnetize people & grab attention, creating an insanely strong emotional connection with prospects so they’re dying to work with you & ONLY you.

Attention is currency. Most people act boring as hell online. And get overlooked even though they have incredible work to share. Understanding the art of being interesting makes you ridiculously powerful. Fascinated people will be dying to listen to you & buy from you.

You never again get price compared or commodified. You're no longer just another "all look & sound the same" interchangeable coach because you mean something to people.

One of the BIGGEST mistakes I see coaches make is creating boring content that doesn‘t make your prospects FEEL anything. Just more blah blah blah to feed the social media machine.
